Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:13D-23, the New Jersey State Ethics Commission has adopted the Uniform Ethics Code to govern and guide the conduct of State officers
and employees and special State officers and employees in the Executive Branch of State Government.

The State Ethics Commission’s Plain Language Guide explains the ethics rules and laws found in the New Jersey Conflicts of Interest Law (N.J.S.A. 52:13D-12 et. seq.), which are applicable to all University Trustees, officers, and employees.
