Stockton University regularly reviews and updates policies and procedures to improve clarity, ensure compliance, and support consistent practices across campus. This page provides a consolidated list of the most recent updates, along with direct links to each document.

Policies and procedures may impact academic, administrative, and student-facing work. Employees are responsible for reviewing updates to policies and procedures that may impact their work. If you supervise employees, consider highlighting relevant updates in team meetings and regular communications.

This is a new Policy outlining campus closures, delays, and/or evacuations during inclement weather or other emergencies.

II-15 Bulletin Rights

February 26, 2026

This is a new Policy which provides consistent practices for understanding requirements for students in an academic program and associated timeframes.

6009: Procurement & Contracting

February 3, 2026

This is a new Procedure to establish the University’s rules, controls, and responsibilities for all purchasing and contracting activities to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, ethical practice, and proper stewardship of University resources.

December 3, 2025

Language updated to include the new winter session.

I-3: Authorizations in Absence of the President

December 3, 2025

Updated authority in absence of the President to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

6116: Overtime

November 6, 2025

Definitions of classified employees were added and eligibility for overtime was clarified.

2013: Student Academic Course Load

November 6, 2025

This is a new Procedure which separates out student credit load and clarifies full-time status thresholds, credit limits, and overload eligibility and approval processes.
